GispenLensveltGroup wins Best Managed Companies title 2010

The GispenLensveltGroup is one of the 45 best managed companies in the Netherlands, according to the Best Managed Companies programme organised by Deloitte in partnership with TiasNimbas Business School, the Chamber of Commerce, VNO-NCW and Management Team. The competition looks for the best managed companies in the Netherlands in big and medium sized companies.

This is the third time that the annual Deloitte competition is being organised in the Netherlands. The GispenLensveltGroup is taking part for the first time and may bear the valued title Best Managed Companies 2010 for a whole year.

The reason for Gispen’s participation in this competition was to gain more insight into the possibilities to further improve its business management. This is therefore the start rather than the end of the process.
The Best Managed Companies programme targets non-listed Dutch companies with a turnover of at least 10 million Euros. The programme is unusual because it is not just about turnover growth. The focus is on excelling through good management. Elements such as strategy & policy planning, organisation & processes, management & control, information technology and people & culture are given special attention within the programme.

The award will be presented on July 1 during the Awards Ceremony in the Passengers Terminal Amsterdam.

With a turnover of €62 million, the GispenLensveltGroup BV is the second largest interior office designer in the Netherlands. The GispenLensveltGroup consists of Gispen International BV, Lensvelt BV and NgispeN B.V. and has 8 sales offices in the Netherlands and Belgium and factories in the Netherlands and China.
