From ownership to use:
Gispen furniture at the New World Campus
Arnold Homan, Inbo Architects
Inbo is the architectural mastermind behind the reconstruction of the New World Campus in The Hague, which was done according to circular principles. This is where Gispen rents out – for the first time in its existence – seating/work and user comfort. How does this work in practice?
Inbo Architect Arnold Homan can design anything from a chair to an entire city. He is passionate about reusing products. In his wide variety of designs – which include houses, a city hall building, offices and educational buildings – he combines sustainable materials with creative thinking and flexible, alternative use. He also designed the sustainable city hall building of Midden-Delfland and CPO Geworteld Wonen. Together with his colleague Rutger Oolbekkink, Arnold recently provided New World Campus with the design for reconstruction of the former Postcheque/Ziggo-building at the ‘Spaarneplein’ in The Hague.
