Claesson Koivisto Rune
Claesson Koivisto Rune was founded in Stockholm in 1995 by Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune.
It started as – and still is – an architectural office, but since has become multi-disciplinary, which in this case means that product design is also practiced with equal emphasis.
The work has earned numerous awards, recently including “Furniture of the Year 2012” and “Designer of the Year 2011” (Elle Decoration Sweden), “German Design Award (Gold) 2011” by the Federal Republic of Germany and “Best Domestic Design 2010” (Wallpaper).
Claesson Koivisto Rune were also in 2004 honoured to be the First Swedish architects ever to be exhibited in the international section of the Venice Architecture Biennale.
Completed architectural projects include: Örsta Gallery building in Kumla, Sfera Building culture house in Kyoto and Nobis Hotel Stockholm.
Product designs by Claesson Koivisto Rune are manufactured by international companies such as Asplund, Blueair, Boffi, Cappellini, David design, Offecct, Paola Lenti, Swedese, Tacchini, Wästberg, among others.
