CIMO Dual workstation
Cimo stands for ‘circular’ and ‘modular’. This desk collection combines sustainability with a characteristic, modular design. Not to mention its clever and innovative adjustment mechanism, as well as a design that supports a healthy way of working, because it allows you to easily alternate between a sitting or standing position behind your desk.
The modular layout of CIMO allows every architect to design their very own CIMO setup. Even after many years of use, you will still be able to add or change components. Form and function go hand in hand: the mechanics of the height adjustment system are neatly tucked away in the columns. The slidable tops, on the other hand, allow for easy access to the cable ducts so that your ICT workers can carry out their jobs without any hassle.

Concentrating and working together
Having the right balance between being able to concentrate and communicate with colleagues is important. CIMO will help you to find the perfect balance. You can choose between dividing screens of different heights, which have the added benefit of improving the acoustics of the room. You can also choose between an open or closed structure by adding side panels.
The columns of CIMO are only 4 cm thick and 16 cm wide. The slim profile gives the setup a slender look while still providing all the benefits of a sit-stand workstation. CIMO provides architects with a wide variety of choice in order to create their own interior design. The dividing screens come in perforated steel for a tougher look and in felt for a more slender, austere look. The characteristic CIMO crank handle for height adjustability is a great feature. The slightly longer handles ensure a smooth and quick transition from a seated to a standing work posture. One can choose between adjustability of either 70 to 120 cm or 65 to 130. Non sit-stand setups can be adjusted between 65 and 90 cm.

When we were designing CIMO, we already took account of future returns and reuse of the components and materials. Gispen takes responsibility for the entire lifespan of this product. When a CIMOproduct has reached the end of its lifespan, Gispen will take the product back and give it a new function or refurbish it. Due to a score of 75% on the circular ladder, we have awarded CIMO with 4 stars on our circular model.
You can choose from a wide range of colours and tabletop finishes; modules and accessories can be added or left out. Add some cosiness to a workstation by adding an upholstered dividing screen, for example. Are you looking for a more natural look? Opt for the multiplex top. This is how you can give your CIMO its own distinctive look. The optional modules have been designed in such a way that you can create a personalised CIMO workstation time after time.
