Gispen - Herman Miller - Interstuhl - Arper - Richard Hutten
At the age of seventeen Richard Hutten (1967) enrolled for the Design Academy Eindhoven. He was part of the class of 1991, where among others Jurgen Bey also was part of. During his graduation year, Hutten started his own studio. Richard earned his reputation with quirky and playful concepts like No Sign of Design and Table on Table, earning him international acclaim. With his clear and often comic designs, he is considered as one of the leading exponents of Dutch Design. Hutten’s work is displayed in the collections of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, the Museum of Modern Art, the Vitra Museum and the Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
