HUGG literally hugs the single or dual workstations in your office environment. The round shapes of this furniture system give its surroundings a friendly and homely atmosphere. The HUGG furniture collection also includes separate panels which can placed around workstations or conference tables. This allows you to create a both a visual and acoustic separation for the different activities take place within the same space.

HUGG panels are ideally suited for open-plan office environments that require privacy. HUGG creates quiet meeting areas and workspaces without having to rearrange your entire office layout. HUGG is perfect for multi-functional offices that adopt an activity-related work method.

Adapt on site

The shape, panels, elements and (functional) accessories can be altered on site at any time. One can, for example, use HUGG elements to create a U-shaped wall with a solo TM desk; a more secluded space with a single opening or a conference room of 350 by 250 cm where you can hold a comfortable meeting with up to 8 people.

Acoustics

In addition to creating visual privacy, HUGG will also reduce ambient noise. The reverberation of sounds are reduced the the absorption of sound. From experience we have learnt that the acoustic properties of HUGG are sufficient to allow for pleasant meetings and telephone calls in the same open environment. Making it pleasant for both those inside and outside of the HUGG unit.

SUSTAINABILITY

We already took account of future returns and reuse of components and materials when we designed HUGG. Gispen stands for high-quality products and takes responsiblity for their entire lifespan, while reducing waste production for as far as possible. When a HUGG product is at the end of its lifecycle, we will give it a new function or refurbish it into a product that is as good as new.
