Sustainable design

Together with our clients, national and international designers and architects, partners and suppliers we create surprising and sustainable solutions for office, healthcare and education environments. We only supply products of the highest quality, because we want solutions to last a long time. Sustainability is our number one priority; we have opted for circular design, manufacturing and entrepreneurship.

Gispen's circular methods

Innovative design and production, clever reuse and value retention are important guiding principles to us. Gispen develops new products according to the principles of the Circular Design Framework. Long lifecycles of products, components and materials are realised due to high-level reuse. We aim to refurbish our products for a second lease of remanufacture them to fulfil a new function. We can ensure your furniture keeps its value by means of clever procurement and furniture management.

CIRCULAR ENTREPRENEURSHIP PUTS AN END TO INCREASING POLLUTION, STOPS THE EXPLOITATION OF VALUABLE AREAS AND REDUCES GLOBAL SOCIAL INEQUALITY.

Maurits van Berckel

"Gispen takes its social responsibilities seriously. While doing so we not only think of today, tomorrow or next week. We mostly think about the future. This means that we need to ensure there are enough resources left for the next generation. Resources that can not only produce existing products but new products as well."

"It would be great if there would be sufficient resources left for my children."
