CIMO stands for ‘circular’ and ‘modular’. This cabinet is part of the CIMO collection that combines sustainability with a characteristic, modular design. Not to mention its clever and innovative adjustment mechanism, as well as a design that supports a healthy way of working because it allows you to easily alternate between a seated or standing position behind your desk. This desk collection has been specially designed to be of service to you in both the present and the future.
CIMO cabinet can be used separately or as an integrated part of a workstation. It comes in three heights for a perfect match with your interior.
CIMO cabinet is a perfect addition towards an interior which you can adapt at any time as requirements change. A good example of this is combining a CIMO cabinet with a workstation.
This is possible due to the modular design of the CIMO collection; everything is assembled through a screw, magnet or snap-on connection. No special tools are required for (dis)assembly.
The connectors allow you to form larger configurations but are also a neat design feature. Another possiblity is to connect a CIMO cabinet with a CIMO workstation. The different heights will allow you create a unique atmosphere.
Gispen believes firmly in its circular model, which is why we already took account of returns and reuse of components and materials when we designed CIMO. Gispen stands for high-quality products and takes responsiblity for their entire lifespan, while reducing waste production for as far as possible. When a CIMOproduct is at the end of its lifecycle, we will give it a new function or refurbish it into a product that is as good as new.
With a circularity percentage of 75%, CIMO is valued at 4 stars on our circular design framework, which we are very proud of.
The steel cabinet can either be repurposed or recycled for 100% at the end of its lifecycle.
Research shows that adding plants to the workplace increases productivity by 15%.
