Dombo by Richard Hutten is a joyful cup with big ears as handles. The large ears are a reference to the human ear, the only body part that continues to grow your entire life. Where did you get your inspiration from for the Dombo cup design?

RICHARD HUTTEN

I was inspired by my son Abel, who was two years old at the time. I got the fantastic idea to design a cup that was as big as he was. Drinking from the ridiculously large cup causes a dramatic effect. But the biggest asset of this cup is, according to Hutten, not the ergonomics, but the fact that it makes people happy and smile when they see and use it.
