A DESIGNER CHAIR WITH CHARACTER

NOMI Project is part of the NOMI chair collection, designed by Just Meijer for Gispen. All NOMI chairs carry the same universal shell, a specially designed bucket seat with a high level of comfort and made from 40% recycled plastic. The different frames are suitable for different activities.

Nomi Project has a slender frame, making it easy to stack or link multiple chairs together. This conference chair has been designed to suit many different purposes. The chair is available with or without armrests and the frame is made of a sturdy steel wire with a chromed finish. You can easily pull a cover over the seat for some more comfort. Holding agile meetings has never been this easy; you simply pull up your NOMI Project to the conference table.

LINKABLE

Thanks to a unique linking system, you can easily connect or disconnect the chair in one operation. Very flexible.

It is due to its special design that the cover can be fitted or removed in a single action.

By not gluing the cover onto the seat, NOMI is easily transformed from a plastic chair into an upholstered chair.

The cover comes in a variety of fabrics. The inside is lined with a thin layer of foam for a more comfortable seat and backrest.

Sustainability

Gispen believes firmly in its circular model, which is why we already took account of returns and reuse of components and materials when we designed Nomi. Gispen stands for high-quality products and takes responsiblity for their entire lifespan, while reducing waste production for as far as possible. When a product is at the end of its lifecycle, we give it a new function or refurbish it into a product that is as good as new.

Make Nomi even more sustainable and opt for a durable fabric. We work with many fabric suppliers, of which some use hemp-based or recycled plastic materials.
