Shaping the primary education environment
Since 2017, Astrid Ebbers has been designing learning environments for primary and secondary education at Gispen. Inspired by nature, the environment and the vision of the school, flexible, sustainable and future-oriented designs are created. With multifunctional furniture, circular choices and an eye for well-being, Astrid creates inspiring learning environments together with schools.

We believe that an optimal learning environment is rich, powerful and meaningful. It offers room for personal input and creativity, stimulates collaboration and experimentation and invites you to get started. A good design with a focus on flexibility cannot be missed. An educational vision or concept gives direction to the concrete design of education. The educational vision of the school is therefore the starting point for us. From there, we can design the most suitable school design.

Co-creation
Education is made together and a school design is something you come up with together. We follow a clear and transparent step-by-step plan in which we work together with the school team from A to Z. For example, we have an inspiring Moodboard session, an Experience visit to our showroom and even a tour of our school furniture factory. In this way, your school interior will come to life.

Then the day has arrived.. The new educational furniture is coming to school! In good consultation we set up the school together. The logistics are spot on. We know exactly where the furniture should be placed. Our Service and Assembly team takes care of the customization. As extra aftercare, our educational design specialist runs an extra delivery round together with the school leader. As soon as everything is correct in detail, the school can open its doors.
After the delivery round, we would like to visit the school again. We are very curious to see how the design is liked by students, parents, education professionals and all other people who are active within the school.
