Certificates

Our definition of Corporate Social Responsibility is to deal with People, Planet & Profit responsibly. This is not just a matter of words. We have numerous certificates to substantiate this claim. 

  • PSO Netherlands has awarded Gispen the PSO 30+ certificate; the highest certification one can achieve in social entrepreneurship.
  • Gispen meets the ISO 45001 standard, regarding the improvement of working conditions and the health and safety of our employees.
  • Gispen meets the ISO 14001 and 9001 standards.
  • Since late 2012, we apply the NEN-ISO 26000:2010 self-declaration. In mid-2015, we were one of the first in the industry to obtain the Lean and Green Logistic Star.
  • In early 2015, we also received the Lean and Green Mobility Award. Those who know the difference, will appreciate what these certificates represent. We also have our carbon footprint measured by the Climate Neutral Group on an annual basis.

CSR does not only apply to our own organisation. We also base the selection of our suppliers on CSR criteria. This is all because we strive towards maximum sustainability across the entire supply chain.
