The Revolt chair has the characteristic and minimal style that is so typical of Friso Kramer’s designs. Revolt is one of his best-known creations; a revolutionary design for 1953 with its frame of bent sheet metal instead of a conventional tubular frame. The Revolt chair was reimagined in 2020, with a more contemporary look and a more sustainable personality, while retaining its functionality and timeless aesthetics.

The seat and backrest of HAY Revolt are available in nine different colours. The frame is powder coated in three different colours. You can give your Revolt chair a personal touch by mixing and matching seat and frame colours.

SUSTAINABILITY

The seat and backrest of Revolt are made from a composition of recycled post-consumer and new ABS plastic. The sheet metal from which the frame is made is processed in such a way that residual materials are minimised for as far as possible.
