Flexible workspaces and open-plan offices have become an integral part of modern work environments. They encourage collaboration and spontaneous interactions. At the same time, they also present challenges - such as increased distractions and sensory stimuli. Especially now that video calls have become a regular part of the workday, the need for spaces to retreat for focus and quiet is growing.

Qabin Meet XL provides space for larger meetings in a quiet, acoustically optimized setting. This spacious office pod accommodates up to six people and is perfect for intensive collaboration, presentations, or hybrid meetings. With maximum comfort and privacy, Qabin Meet XL offers a space where teams can meet, focus, and make decisions without distractions.

THE RIGHT BALANCE IN AN OPEN SPACE

Various activities often take place at the same time in work environments, with each activity producing its own level of noise. Providing sufficient space for people to (temporarily) isolate themselves will contribute to the right balance in the workplace. The increasing number of video calls also requires a solution that allows employees to withdraw from the bustle of the office for longer periods of time. The Qabin Collection provides that solution.

NATURAL AIR CONDITIONING

Warm air rises, cold air drops. This basic principle was the starting point for the development of Qabin. We designed a unique system that draws the air inside the unit from the bottom through the walls to the top. Fans in the ceiling draw the air upwards.

The incoming air is always cooler, providing a natural and cooling airflow. People and electrical equipment, such as laptops, warm up the room. This 'natural air conditioning' ensures that the temperature inside the unit is kept at a stable level. It is possible to make your own adjustments to the ventilation system.

Qabin Meet XL comes in five configurations of which an overview can be found in the brochure. The configuration that is best for your organisation depends on how you will be using the unit. Will it be used as a single workspace, for videoconferences or meetings, for example?

The Silence Collection is designed to evolve with the times which makes it a sustainable solution. The collection is built in such a way that any component is easily upgraded or replaced. Anyone who looks for an Ahrend Qabin to work in a focused manner or make undisturbed calls not only wants peace, but also privacy. To create an extra feeling of privacy, we offer a number of comfortable and attractive options. You can choose from:

Smart PuK powered by Zens

The smart PuK powered by Zens is a sensor that measures whether a workplace is occupied. Upon arrival at the office, you can see in real time via a dashboard which workplaces are already occupied and which are still available. If a workplace is hardly used, this becomes clear and the workplace can be moved or removed to ensure optimal occupancy. The PuK signals whether a workplace is potentially broken or needs maintenance or cleaning. With the PuK it is also possible to charge your phone or airpods wirelessly. The LED ring on the PuK shows the occupancy with colours.
